Calling the States

Postby bekontheworld » Mon May 04, 2015 9:49 pm

Once you get settled in and get a cell phone, you might need/want to call back to the States. There are several ways to do this with absolutely no cost, most of them involve downloading an app on your phone. List below.

Skype
Magic Jack
Facetime
Kakao
Google Voice
OTO app

Did I miss a good resource?

i use an international calling number. it only uses your cell phone minutes, you don't get charged anything extra unless you go over your minutes. call 1-688-4663 then an automated voice will prompt you to put in the number you want to call. it's really easy. ;)

Download this APP called OTO

Its calls anywhere in the States. ITs not a internet phone so it will use up your minutes, however you wont be charged for the international call.

I use this APP daily so the quality is great
